Terms of sale and use

Last updated 23 October 2026.

These terms are between you and Sylloge Ltd (“we”), company number 17461399, registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. By buying a licence or using PageWeaver you agree to them.

What PageWeaver is

PageWeaver is a novel-writing app that runs in your web browser at app.pageweaver.studio. It stores your work in your own browser, on your own device. It is not an AI writing tool and does not send your writing anywhere.

Free trial

You can use everything in PageWeaver free for 30 days from the first time you open it in a browser. No card is needed.

Licences and prices

  • £95 once buys a licence for PageWeaver version 1, including every update to version 1. It does not expire.
  • £5 a month buys a subscription, renewed each month until you cancel.
  • Academic access is free for a university or college email address: one ending .ac.uk, .edu, .edu.au, .ac.nz, one at a university we recognise automatically, or one at a university we have added on request. It is confirmed by email once a year, for up to five years from the first confirmation; a lecturer we have confirmed on request keeps it, confirmed the same way.

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT or any sales tax due, so you pay the price you see: £95, or £5 a month. Checkout may show it in your own currency.

Who sells you the licence

Purchases are sold through Link, Stripe’s checkout (Stripe also calls it Onelink), as the merchant of record. Link sells you the licence, takes the payment, deals with the tax, and sends your receipt. Its terms for the sale apply alongside these. On your card or bank statement, the payment is a charge from Link (Stripe’s checkout service), shown as LINK.COM* PAGEWEAVER or ONELINK* PAGEWEAVER.

Delivery

Your licence arrives by email straight after payment, as a link that activates it and as text you can paste in.

Cancelling and refunds

See our refund and cancellation policy. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under consumer law.

When a licence ends

If a trial, subscription or academic access ends, or a licence is refunded, you can always open, read and export everything you have written. Making new books, covers, EPUB files and print books is locked until you buy or renew. Nothing you have written is ever hidden or deleted.

Your work

Everything you write in PageWeaver is yours. Because it is stored in your browser, you are responsible for keeping backups: the app’s Back up saves your work to a file. We cannot recover work that a browser or device has deleted.

Your licence is for you

A licence belongs to the person who bought it, or for academic access, the person it was issued to. You can use it on any of your own devices and browsers. You must not give, sell, lend or publish it, or let anyone else use it. If we find a licence being misused, we may cancel it without a refund.

Our responsibility

We provide PageWeaver with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for losses caused by a browser or device deleting stored data.

Our total liability to you, for all claims together, is limited to:

  • £5 monthly subscription: what you paid for it in the 12 months before your claim.
  • £95 licence: £95.
  • Free trial or academic access: nothing. These cost nothing, so no payment is due.

Whatever kind of access you have, nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version on this page applies to new purchases. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
